We started Revive in 2020 from a crowded laundry room inspired by the idea that something as simple as coffee could bring lasting life to our neighborhood.

Our Story

Our Story

Revive Roasters began in 2020 in a crowded laundry room, where 18-year-old Ben stayed up through the night roasting one pound at a time on a tiny Behmor. What started as a humble side project quickly grew into something more. When we shared our coffee at local pop-ups, we felt an immediate spark—people weren’t just enjoying the coffee, they were connecting with it. That early encouragement fueled our desire to keep going.

In 2022, we met at The Well Coffee in Stockton. Our shared love for coffee and for bringing people together sparked a bigger vision: to grow Revive into something that could create real impact in our communities.

Since then, we’ve had the privilege of serving coffee to inmates at the San Joaquin County Jail, to displaced neighbors in Southside Stockton, and at the SF Coffee Festival. We’ve supported community cleanups, helped local startups open their doors, partnered with nonprofits, and stood alongside small businesses who proudly serve Revive. We've watched our coffee, recipes, and journals travel far beyond what we imagined.

At its core, Revive is about more than just great coffee. It’s about slowing down, celebrating connection with others, and making an impact in our neighborhood. That’s why we’re rooted in Midtown Stockton—because we’re constantly asking: How can we take something  people enjoy everyday like coffee and turn it into something that brings life to our neighborhood for years to come? That question drives everything we do. And it’s why we’re here, building something that lasts.

Our Impact

At Revive, we believe that what helps a city truly flourish is local businesses that bring life and color to their communities. We know that starting something meaningful takes hard work, which is why we commit to supporting a select number of small businesses we genuinely believe in. In addition to that, we actively partner with local nonprofits—supporting efforts like youth mentoring, prevention programs, and community clean-ups—because we’re passionate about building relationships that create real impact in our neighborhood.

When it comes to our coffee at Revive, we guarantee delicious coffee with every bag we ship out. The first way we do this is through our thorough production process which entails: roasting weekly, cupping/tasting every batch, and measuring the coloring of the roasted coffee with the LIGHTTELLS CM-200 for QC. All the way from the sourcing at farms, to the coffee you enjoy daily from Revive, is measured by our core value — quality and detail.

We consider being out of the box in everything — continually making decisions to stand out in the way we bring people together in the community of Stockton.  We strive to not be conformed by what is trending in the coffee industry, but rather seek first meeting the needs of our customers and striving to bring a whole new kind of experience that places an emphasis on connection with others to the coffee industry. As a small business, we intentionally keep our focus on the wellbeing of our team and the needs of our community rather than pursuing growth for growth's sake.

We love having a home that feels like home to those we love, too. Since the very beginning, we founded Revive with the intention of sharing coffee with friends and family in our home, and so that you can do the same in yours.

We believe that coffee can truly help bring people together in homes, coffee shops, or wherever Revive is found. We source our coffee through relationships we've built with people at trusted import companies and direct trade relationships through a collaborative effort with THE WELL STOCKTON. Import companies such as COVOYA COFFEE, ROYAL COFFEE, and SUSTAINABLE HARVEST have worked directly with farmers and co-ops for either decades or more-helping to improve the quality of their crops as well as the community's quality of life.
